Et Voila! After 18 years of absence on the musical scene, Roger
“Ti Yale” Jean-Baptiste, co-founder and original member
of the popular Haitian band DJET-X, is proud to present the X-FACTOR.
During his musical tenure with DJET-X, he wrote, composed and arranged
several hit songs such as: “Le Nôtre”, “Orgeuil”,
“Fais toi plus Belle”, “Gagotte DJET La”, “Big
Break”, (the latter, in collaboration with Alix Jacques), “Rossignol”
(with Gerard Daniel) , “Simalo“ (with Max Badette) and
the immensely popular “Love to Love you Baby”, a classic,
a standard in Haitian Music.
Based in Orlando, Florida, the X-FACTOR uses a combination of blasting
horns, digital synthesizers, licking guitars and, all this, with
a colorful swing of COMPAS. Listen to this CD.,their first. It will
with no doubt take your breath away.
This album is a special dedication to my beloved sons Gabriel and
Christopher who took an early journey to a special place called
Heaven.
